At last night's city council meeting, the decision was made to change our trash service. The council voted to award the new contract to Trash Pros. You can read more about it here. Trash Pros came in with the lowest bid for residents. We will have the same service we are currently getting with no curb-side recycling available (recycling will still be available at a single location). Service will also now be mandatory for all properties under 2 acres.What will this mean to Fernley residents? I will find out and get the info posted here regarding what we will need to do to transition to this new service.
