Nonprofit Fernley Community Thrift Store

Stop by and check out Fernley's newest community thrift store!

All profits go right back into the community through the Fernley Community Coalition (Substance Abuse Focus Group, Fernley High School's substance abuse prevention team TATUD, contributions to great programs such as Lyon Recreation's summer teen club, etc.)

Store Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 10am-4pm and Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am-6pm. The store is also normally open on Saturdays from noon-4pm.

Location: Sierra Vista Mall at 878 Hwy 95A and Cottonwood.

Contact: Store Manager Janie Cummins for more detail at 835-1456 (cell)

They're in great need of volunteers, hangers and plastic bags.

This store has so many nice items such as antiques and china sets! I love shopping there. The better phone number to reach the store is: 835-0202.

There's a huge Labor Day sale there on Monday, Sept. 1 with bins of things for 10cents to 25cents, and a "fill your grocery sack with clothes for $1.75" sale!
