McDonald's providing $3 refunds for 'Shrek' glasses

McDonald’s Corp. is providing $3 refunds to consumers who purchased “Shrek Forever After” drinking glasses that the restaurant chain recalled last week because they contained cadmium.

The promotional glasses were sold for $1.99 with a food purchase and $2.49 without.

The company decided to provide a $3 refund to “account for taxes customers may have paid,” a spokeswoman said.

To get the refund, customers must return the glasses inside a McDonald’s store and fill out a refund slip. A receipt is not required

Kids In the Kitchen Double Berry Smoothie

With summer almost on the horizon (hopefully) - these yummy double berry smoothies will be sure to please!

Measurements are approximate. Add everything to your taste.

1/2 cup each blueberries and strawberries (I used frozen blueberries)
1 cup plain yogurt
1 T honey

Put all of the ingredients into a blender and puree til smooth.

Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately garnished with an extra strawberry, if desired.

Lands' End Lands' End Harbour Island Twitter Event

It is almost that time of year again - Swimsuit season! Lands' End along with Islands of the Bahamas and iexplore.com have gotten together to celebrate!
